Can you explain how this does not apply to CoD?
A team working together to control the map isn't "required" in Halo, but if you manage to do it right, it will increase your team's chance of winning, the same can be said about any FPS game(including CoD).

Again, working with teammates/controlling map parts is how any team based FPS is played on a competitive level....
